Our Governance

How decisions are made.

The architecture that ensures every commitment carries the same standard of judgement, regardless of size or sector.

01

Senior-led

Every commitment of capital — large or small — is reviewed and approved by the same senior partners who founded this firm. No committee by proxy. No delegation of conviction.

02

Aligned

Each partner has meaningful personal capital invested alongside the firm. We carry the same outcomes our partners do, on every position.

03

Continuous

Our partner group has been together, on average, for more than a decade. Continuity is not an aspiration — it is the operating model.

04

Accountable

The Investment Committee meets weekly, the Risk Committee meets monthly, and every position is reviewed annually with the discipline of an institutional house.

The Wider Team

Hundreds of professionals. One culture.

Beyond the partner group, Qamar Capital Group employs hundreds of operating, project and corporate professionals across its group companies in Kabul and across Afghanistan — including dedicated teams in development, construction, trade, telecommunications, services, risk, legal, compliance and finance.

We hire deliberately, train continuously and promote from within. The average tenure of our senior professionals is more than seven years — a number we believe says as much about the firm as any financial figure.
